WHAT: Cool off with ice cream sandwiches and frozen drinks in Habana Outpost's courtyard while meeting like minded professionals and community members!
Learn about local business owners' and community members' practices and efforts to be green, and how you can live a greener lifestyle – directly from them!
WHO: You and other ecologically minded business owners and community members.
Representatives from FxFowle Architects, the Hollenback Community Garden, Collective 4, e design dynamics, Solar E Systems, Bettencourt Green Building Supplies, Treehugger and more will be there!
Habana Outpost is NYC's first solar powered restaurant, marketplace and Eco-Eatery fostering a healthy local community in Fort Greene Brooklyn.
WHY: To have fun and connect directly with the local community. Food and drink sales from the event will go to support Urban Studio Brooklyn's summer 2007 workshop, from August 17-25th, during which NYC architecture students will design and build an extensive water reclamation system for the Outpost.
